 Roger Corbett has been involved in the retail industry for more than 40 years. In 1984, he joined the Board of David Jones Australia as Director of Operations. In 1990, he was appointed to the Board of Woolworths Limited and to the position of Managing Director of BIG W. On 1 January 1999, Roger was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Woolworths Limited and retired from that position at the end of September, 2006. He is a director of the Reserve Bank of Australia, a director of Wal-Mart Stores, Chairman of Fairfax Media Limited and Deputy Chairman of PrimeAg Australia Limited.
