Training for store managers
New Store Managers will complete a centralised induction which prepares them for working with remote indigenous communities for Outback Stores by familiarising them with our company values, policies and procedures. They will also gain skills in remote driving, working with cultural differences and nutrition principles as well as completing 30% of the accredited Outback Stores Sustainability Program. Store Managers will then go on participating in the Outback Stores Sustainability Program. The program is a comprehensive store management course designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to enhance the performance of their store. The program covers a range of areas including safety, merchandising, community engagement, customer service, staff development, and more. Projects under the program are aimed at achieving immediate operational results for the store and increasing the ability of the Store Manager. The program is aligned with Certificate IV in Retail Management.”
